Understanding and Awareness

Circumstances can shape or reveal who we are, and it can also lead to assumptions. We all have genetic traits, for better or worse, that run through our veins which carries thousands of years of information… not just physically (think about when your friend is on a diet because high blood pressure and/or diabetes runs in his family tree) but mentally, spiritually, at times financially. Think of this popular term “generational wealth”… Right! I feel like I inherited trauma, well at least from the stories my folks tell me of the family and comparing them to the conditions I’ve encountered trauma in my personal life, a lot which, was self-induced due to circumstances. I’m cool with, but matter of fact I’m baruk, because resiliency is an excellent equalizer also, baruk for there to be a lot of dope stories to write on past footsteps that should or shouldn’t be traced is another blessing. I’m Bonza by the way I always believed a real friend can tell you who you are and other times an enemy can tell you even more. As far as who I am? I’m a self-professed loner so yeah, I know myself but I’m still picking up the pieces and discovering more. I also know where I buried my old bones, but don’t we all? I hope you weren’t too puzzled, just fill in the blanks.
