Growing up in the west end of one of Toronto's 13 priority neighborhoods didn't really set the expectations high for me and my peers. And the only examples of success were in the drug, sport, and entertainment fields, which didn't leave many options for me to see a way out. Like most young men, I had dreams of playing in the NBA. Like most young men would discover, that dream started to fade. I was a little lost and not completely sure what I wanted to do with my life. The only other thing I was interested in at the time was business. Growing up, I always had a couple of entrepreneurial endeavors on the go to make extra cash, and one of those endeavors was selling clothes from the trunk of my car. I slowly gained a passion for fashion, and as the years went on I decided to develop my own clothing brand in 2008 called "Rep Clothing", which later evolved to the "Fraternity" brand.
